QA Engineer Senior Engineer – (Technology)

We are hiring QA Engineer Senior Engineer – (Technology) for one of our key client.

Position Title:
QA Engineer Senior Engineer – (Technology)

Location: Remote (Based in Bangladesh)

Working Days: Monday- Friday

Job Purpose:

To lead the development and execution of automated and manual testing to ensure the successful deployment of web and mobile application products. The role will contribute to software quality, testing process improvement, automation, AI/ML application validation, and continuous quality improvement.

Principal Accountabilities:

Key Result Areas Major Activities
QA Planning & Execution Design comprehensive test cases and execute in-sprint testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software releases. Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing across platforms.
QA Process & Best Practices Implement QA best practices and continuously improve testing processes, standards, and methodologies. Develop and maintain QA standards, processes, and best practices across the organization.
Test Automation Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, mobile, APIs, back-end services, and AI/ML applications. Review, maintain, and improve automated testing scripts and frameworks.
UI & Application Testing Automate UI testing and develop test scripts for front-end systems using JavaScript/TypeScript and back-end systems using Python.
API & Software Testing Test APIs and applications using both black-box and white-box testing methodologies.
AI/ML Testing & Validation Validate AI/ML models for accuracy, bias, robustness, reliability, and performance. Apply AI/ML testing methodologies, including model validation, adversarial testing, and bias detection.
CI/CD & Continuous Testing Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis Identify, document, and track defects and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams to ensure timely resolution. Perform root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of defects and quality issues.
Quality Metrics & Improvement Define and track quality metrics to measure product quality and continuous improvement. Execute quality improvement initiatives and testing activities.
Documentation Document test plans, test cases, test results, defects, and quality metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, project managers, and other team members to proactively identify and communicate project blockers and quality risks.
Product Demo & Technical Communication Facilitate and participate in product demos, explaining application functionality and relevant test scenarios or automation scripts.
Team Mentoring Mentor team members and promote effective QA practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
Quality & Safety Standards Ensure adherence to relevant industry quality and safety standards.
Other Duties Perform other related duties as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, including black-box and white-box testing of APIs and web applications

 

Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of automated testing methodologies, including unit, integration, end-to-end, functional, and performance testing, and when to apply each
  • Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Qase, or similar platforms
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, Cypress, or similar tools
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience testing applications running on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript; experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is preferred
  • Proficiency in Python; experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with QA automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, Playwright, PyTest, or Vitest
  • Knowledge of AI/ML testing methodologies, including model validation, adversarial testing, bias detection, and performance evaluation
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitHub

Salary:

  • 100K – 150K (Based on experience)
