We are hiring Senior Engineer DevOps – (Technology) for one of our key client.

Position Title:
Senior Engineer DevOps – (Technology)

Location: Remote (Based in Bangladesh)

Working Days: Monday- Friday

Job Purpose:
To support the engineering core of reliability by owning infrastructure projects, incident response, root cause analyses (RCAs), and production change requests. The role focuses on infrastructure reliability, automation, monitoring, production support, and continuous improvement.

Principal Accountabilities:

Key Result Areas Major Activities
Infrastructure Projects & Migrations Execute complex infrastructure migrations, consolidations, production-grade automations, and monitoring changes.
Incident Response & RCA Triage production outages, implement immediate fixes, and write root cause analyses with permanent fixes assigned to the responsible teams.
Production Change Management Create, review, and execute changes in production, including validating whether a proposed change is safe to execute.
CI/CD Pipeline Management Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
Operational Automation Automate repetitive operational tasks by writing scripts and internal tools to improve team efficiency.
Cloud & Microservices Management Deploy and manage microservices on cloud platforms, including configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
Monitoring & Observability Improve monitoring and observability through dashboards, alerts, and log pipelines.
Incident Documentation & Runbooks Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews and maintain runbooks for critical systems.
Technical Documentation Write and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes owned.
Infrastructure & Process Improvement Drive meaningful improvements to outdated systems and processes and maintain a focus on effective solutions.


Skills & Knowledge:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in a production environment.

 

Functional Skills:

  • Proven experience with Azure; familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and change management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Argo Workflows
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container ecosystems including ECS, EKS, or AKS
  • Helm proficiency required
  • Solid Linux fundamentals, including processes, networking, permissions, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as the LGTM stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch
  • Competence in Python or Bash scripting
  • Knowledge of IAM least-privilege, secrets management, and container hardening
  • Expert-level AWS experience is mentioned in the role description

Salary:

  • 100K – 150K (Based on experience)
