BPO / Finance Operations
Reports To: Head of Operations / Director – BPO
Job Purpose
To manage and oversee key client accounts within the BPO division while ensuring accurate financial reporting, operational excellence, and strong client relationship management. The role is responsible for supervising financial account preparation, analyzing financial performance, improving internal controls, and ensuring high client satisfaction through efficient service delivery and process optimization.
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end key client accounts within BPO vertical.
- Ensure accurate preparation & review of financial statements under deadlines.
- Drive internal control improvements and operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
Major Challenges
- Managing multiple client accounts while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Ensuring timely preparation and review of financial statements under strict deadlines.
- Handling client expectations and resolving operational or financial issues effectively.
- Maintaining strong internal controls while improving operational efficiency.
- Coordinating between cross-functional teams and stakeholders for smooth service delivery.
Key Decisions
- Prioritization of client deliverables and operational activities.
- Reviewing and validating financial reports and account statements.
- Recommending process improvements and internal control measures.
- Escalation and resolution of client-related operational issues.
- Coordination and allocation of tasks among team members.
Skills and Knowledge
Educational Qualification: BBA/MBA in Accounting, Finance or related field. Partly qualified ACCA/CA/CMA preferred.
Experience: 5–8 years in BPO, Finance, Accounting, or Key Account Management. Experience in financial reporting, client management, company formation is highly preferred.
Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial statements & accounting principles.
- Knowledge of final accounts preparation & financial analysis.
- Client relationship management & stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Understanding internal controls & process improvement.
